2 terms down, 1 to go

Teaching definitely has it's benefits. Not only, do Keith and I get to help students reach their goals, but we also get to have fun at work. Yes, there are days when we would rather play hookie...but we don't because we know that our job is important. Yes, there are days when we want to strangle our students, but we know that they are human and make mistakes. And yes, there are days that we wish we made more money, but we never Never NEVER regret our decision to move to Cambodia. We both agree it has been one of the best decisions we have ever made.

We recently completed our second term. There were ups and downs along the way and some interesting stories to go with each of those moments. We had students who disappointed us as they tried to cheat on their exams. We had students who inspired us with their motivation to learn as much as they possibly could. We had students who struggled with illnesses like Measles and Dengue Fever. And, we had students whose hearts were broken by the death of parents and loved ones. There are so many struggles that our students face, and when they are able to overcome those life battles, we are so proud to have been a part of their journey.

Here are some pictures of our classes. They are so generous and sweet. They all wanted to take photos with us and even organized a class party. Take a look at some of our fabulous students.
